Can regular use of a neti pot help get rid of bad breath?

I want to start using a neti pot to cleanse my sinuses because I have headaches, congestion, allergies, etc. I was wondering if as an extra bonus it would help with bad breath? I don’t really have bad breath if I brush my teeth 3+ times a day, but sometimes when I’m running around town with a ton of stuff to do I don’t have time to stop and brush my teeth and by the end of the day my mouth tastes sour. will a neti pot help with this? And what are some other benefits of using a neti pot that you didn’t expect when you started using one?

If your bad breath is due to sinus congestion, then I would say yes a neti pot would help because you are clearing out your nasal passage. But if your bad breath is due to the plaque on your teeth, then no a neti pot would not help. You’ll need to brush and floss for that.
They do have those teeth wipes that fit on your finger that you can use to freshen up a bit and they work nicely.
