He needs to see his dentist; he could have gum disease or other problems. If the dentist can’t find anything, then it’s time to consult a doctor.

Flossing and a breath mint should help..if he brushes and doesnt floss the brushing won’t really work so much…crest mouthwash is uber cool too…

The problem is not his teeth – it is his tongue and possibly his digestive system. He should see a doctor or dentist. He should use an antiseptic rinse and a tongue scraper –

  9. LG Says:

Try 75-80% mouthwash & fill the rest of the bottle up with hydrogen peroxide. It doesn’t taste great but it really does help to kill the germs, & when used at night breath isn’t as bad in the morning as usual & a great side effect is whiter teeth.

It might not matter that he is constantly brushing his teeth. When your body detoxes it will make a layer on your tongue and there is not much he can do about it except maybe get some of those breath strips.

does he floss? food gets stuck between teeth and rots, causing bad breath. it could be his diet, or there can be medical reasons for bad breath. this is a helpful site, and since it isn’t a dot com, they’re not trying to sell you anything – maybe you should ask him to read it. good luck!

As said before, could be partly diet, also could be a low grade infection in the body. Gum disease causes bad breath, and with gum disease the gums are infected. Flossing is just as important as brushing to get rid of particles of food decaying between the teeth.

    use horse radish

Maybe it’s something he’s eating or maybe he has gum disease.

Tell him to use listerine it works good and give him mints and fresh smelling gum.

Its bad on the enamel of the took to brush more than 4 times a day and if he does not brush his tongue or the back of the tongue he is waisting his time.

  17. Popcorn Playa Says:

Have him rinse with peroxide before he brushes. After he spits it out it will still be bubbling in his mouth then he can brush. Make sure he brushes his tounge too. Then rinse with scope.

  18. mbunny Says:

If he’s not brushing his tongue he needs to. If nothing works talk to your Dr. or dentist, it could be illness.

um..listerine can help 30 seconds..plus go to the dentist…chew gum..chewing gum is good for your mouth too…it helps to keep the bacteria out in our mouth………go to the dentist is the best idea i think..peace out…

  20. brunettegreeneyedgirl Says:

After he brushes his teeth have him brush his tongue. also, use mouthwash after wards (Listerine) what it does is makes the gums adhere to the teeth . Also, floss..Really he needs to go to see the dentist..he may have gum disease..

  21. Patail #24 Says:

Brushing your teeth doesn’t really help you if you think about it. The smell always comes back. You should tell him to use one of those tongue scrappers. Also, if your mouth isn’t active for a while, then your breath goes nasty. Tell him to constantly chew on something. Gum would be a smart thing to chew =]

Get him some Therabreath. There’s coupons at
