how cn i get rid of bad breath from my night guard ?
so i just got my night guard yesterday , and i slept with it in last night , woke up this morning and took it out and cleaned it and such .
then i wondered how my breath was cause the dentist said that the guard can smell bad after a while …. but i only got it that day .
so i asked mom and she said it was really bad :$ so i did my morning routine (brush , floss , rinse , brush , rinse) then after that i asked mom again how it was and she said it helped a little … so it was still bad .
any tips on what i can do … obviously all of what i did , didnt help much ;\
anything would be good , thanks (:
i know i got a somewhat of a cold
but my breath has never really been bad , and apparently it was really bad … due to the night guard ;\

You could have a bad cavity that is missing the nerves so you can’t feel it. ALSO, you could have a bug or something, because when you are sick, it makes your breathe kinda smell!

Make sure you’re also using a tongue scraper. Most bad breath actually comes from the soft tissue in your mouth. It may also be time for a new tooth brush. Finally get a denture cleaner and soak your mouth guard when not in use.
