Use a finger toothbrush in his mouth or wet a washcloth and wash his gums and or teeth with it.

After he eats, take the washcloth and gently go over his teeth and gums to get rid of food and germs!

They make little finger tip toothbrushes with infant toothpaste, you can get one at walmart, babies r us and any drugstore. They work pretty well and are relatively cheap and I think it might solve your problem. Oh and it’s good for your little ones teeth too!

try taking a baby tooth brush with plain water and gently brush his gums and tongue.
If that doesnt help consult your doc.
